Again with the facial features, skin tone, hair, clothes--that subtle Hassidic stylization. Not to beat a dead lobster, but I really do appreciate the care you've given to realistically depicting the human "natives" of this world. They look very understated and plausible to me, and that's a refreshing contrast with some of the crazy overly stylized stuff you see in the modern versions of D&D-style fantasy, and even going back to Dark Sun. Some of that stuff is just too over the top for me in terms of the elaborate stylization, and that creates an unnecessary disconnect in relating to the characters as people, I think. I don't know, maybe that's just me, but I grew up with the old-school D&D where the adventurers just looked like fairly standard real-world medieval humans, which makes it even more impressive when you see them fighting some giant monster. This newer flamboyant "WoW"- and "4th Edition"-style fantasy look is kind of a sore point for me, I guess.
Thanks!
